Oral and Family History Archive

We are working to interview and collect the oral history of Sikh Americans from around the country. Presently, our focus is on those whose families or they themselves immigrated to the United States in the early 1970s and earlier. We believe it is important to record and preserve the foundational stories of our community and elders.

We will release guidance on how to record your own interview and share it with our archive.

We will update this section with oral history interviews from Sikh Americans talking about immigration, labor, and personal experiences of being a Sikh in America.
